Big girls are forever being told what not to wear, that everything from stripes to pleats to booties (even ponytails!) are off-limits. Its no wonder many full figured women hide behind boring black outfits, which they consider safe. Well... I've done my research on how to pull off some looks which some would consider a fashion don't for curvy girls. If you're plus sized, and you want to get those heads turning, forget those myths and follow these tips and style points.
Myth 1. Horizontal stripes double your size.
Tip : They don’t really make you look bigger but just attract attention to a particular area. The trick is to use this to your advantage and wear them to accentuate parts of your body that you’re proud of.
Myth 2. Curvy girls can't wear skinny jeans!
Tip : Pair with a loose top, peplum , or a blazer for a sleek silhouette. Rock with heels or flats too!
Myth 3. Peplum adds volume
Tip: A streamlined pencil skirt or skinnny jeans with a peplum creates an hourglass shape.
Myth 4. Black is the most flattering color for fuller figures.
Tip: Solid, bold hues are equally slimming.
Myth 5 .Full skirts make bottoms look bigger.
Tip : Soft pleats at the waist camouflage the rear and the tummy area.
Myth 6. Patterned bottoms draw attention to a heavy bottom.
Tip: Worn with heels and a solid top or blazer, they add pop, not pounds.
Myth 7. Bodycon dresses are for skinny girls
Tip: No way. With the right body shaper, this is actually a very slimming look.
So go on girl. Big is certainly beautiful.
So flaunt your stuff, cos life's too good for anyone to care!

ReplyDeleteNice post. I learn some thing more difficult on various blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating you just read content using their company writers and use a little something from their site. I’d would prefer to use some with all the content in my small weblog no matter whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll provide you with a link on the internet weblog. Many thanks sharing. luxury plus size fashion
